Here's what you need to signup for the TECU Members' Health Plan?

Click the required division and suitable age group below to access the relevant application package. 

  1. Actives- Division 1, 2 and 3 (Age 45 and under) 
  2. Actives-Division 1, 2 and 3 (Age 45- 64) *
  3. Retirees- Division 4, 5 and 6 (Age 65 -70)*

* A completed exam request form is required in addition to the completed application package for Division 3 Age 45-64, Division 4, 5 and 6. Click here to access the exam request form.  

Please note: 

  1. Tests include last 2 most recent blood pressure readings, cholesterol reading, HBA1C (not be more than 2 weeks old)
  2. Where the spouse of the insured member is also a member, the older of the two shall be registered as the insured member and the spouse shall be registered as the covered dependent.
  3. Enrolment for members seventy (70) years and over is closed.*

In addition to the documents above, members are required to submit the following supporting documents:

  1. Two (2) valid government issued picture identification for new plan members only
  2. Valid identification for dependants- a copy of the birth certificate and legal documents (for adopted children) are required for children under the age of 18. Marriage certificate or affidavit (for Common-Law) is also required for spouses.
  3. University letter certifying attendance at a full-time school (Annual requirement for children 19-23 years).
